Note: The roads in Indonesia can be VERY dense and requires some skill. See for skills and tips the country page of Indonesia (the most difficult traffic in SEA including Bangkok (++)), we classified the roads as cycleable with the following: 

-- every 15min a car, - frequently a car and sometimes a bus (or opposite); + cars, some busses and trucks ; ++ traffic jam (not dangerous due to low speed); * traffic terror (like cycling on a highway with drunk drivers); ** NO GO!!
